Cyber, Physical, and Event Safety & Security Training for State Lawmakers and Advocates
Given the increasing concerns about safety and security we’ve heard from the gender justice community, the State Gender Policy Collective is partnering with the Democracy Security Project Action Fund (DSPAF) to host a safety and security training specifically for Collective members. DSP’s training helps to build situational awareness for a wide range of threats offline and online. Participants learn how to respond to physical threats such as harassment, and threats at your home or office. In addition, DSP works to strengthen security awareness around digital threats and protect your personal information online. Participants will learn how to mitigate risk in the early planning phase through decision-making, and event execution. DSP works to empower participants with practical and pragmatic solutions to address physical, cyber, and event vulnerabilities and threats. This session will not be recorded.
